Over the last 25 years, I have advised corporates, central banks and financial institutions on their international payments and currency exposure. During my career I have been able to build bridges between the treasury and payment department by advising them how to settle payments and if there were currency restrictions/limitations. Being in control of the settlement was the key word here.
With building this expertise over the years,  I became a subject matter expert for international clients with cross border payments for non-standard markets. I believe that setting up a robust payment process also requires a thorough understanding of the underlying currency market and available liquidity. Only if you combine all these elements you establish an efficient process and mitigate risk.

"I have been working within the financial industry for about 20 years. During this period, I have gained a lot of experience with resolving financial and administrative issues.
By advising companies how they can best set up their treasury, often against lower costs and reduced risk, I have been able to contribute to structured and controlled growth.
Through my years of international experience, I learned that you only can do business or implement change if you listen to people, respect their (corporate) cultures, and ensure transparency. Ultimately, it is all about trust. The more international the company becomes, the more important these aspects are.

With more than 7 years’ experience in optimizing financial landscapes for corporates, I enjoy keeping up with the ongoing changes in the financial sector, such as SEPA and PSD2. As an Account Executive, I advise my clients how to operate in a dynamic environment to keep up: from small compliance challenges to more complex and global cash management projects. My passion lies in providing treasurers with opportunities, possibilities, and support to maximize and reinvent their corporate treasury strategy. Whether it is guiding a business to operate more efficiently or how to improve decision making through smart payments, I am privileged to work towards a common goal!
